Design Notes: Historic Route 66 has also been referred to as Will Rogers Highway, The Main Street of America, or "The Mother Road" as John Steinbeck denoted in his novel The Grapes of Wrath. Although it officially no longer exists due to the Interstate Highway Act of 1956, some sections remain to be explored and appreciated. Bobby Troup wrote the well-known tune, "(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66," after a ten-day trek with his wife from Pennsylvania to California. The song was first recorded in 1946 by Nat King Cole.

My husband absolutely loved the tshirt I gave him for his 66th birthday. The Route 66 tshirt with his name was perfect. We live near Route 66 and spent the day enjoying lunch and dinner with family at favorite places, taking photos near the 66 signs. His tshirt made it so much more fun for him! Great quality, cool design, very timely shipping. Thank you! Published 3 months ago by Linda
